7 Most Instagrammable Photo Locations in Koh Lanta, Krabi, Thailand

Koh Lanta is an island located in Krabi Province, Thailand. Dont be lazy, search it on google maps!
I've got a chance to do an internship in the island for 3 and half months and I've collected some photos of the best places in Koh Lanta. Check them out!

PS : List is not in particular order

1. Khlong Chak Waterfall
You need to walk deep to the jungle for around 20 minutes (one way). There's no entrance fee,         therefore the track is not in a good condition but still safe. There's no sign that leads to the waterfall but there is a natural track left by visitors. Very slippery, I suggest you to not wear sandals.

2. On the way to Mu National Park
I was on my way to Mu National Park but decided to not enter the national park because is crazily over priced. 40 THB for locals and 200 THB for foreigners, not including parking fee! And honestly the national park is also not as "amazing" as magazine articles says. But I really enjoyed my journey with a scooter on the way to the national park!

3. Long Beach
Probably the best beach the island have...

4. Long Beach Chalet
This is a name of a hotel in Long Beach. They have a swing out looking the beach! You can easily spot it when walking along the beach. Honestly they dont care if you're a guest or not to take a picture there.

5. Shine Talay Restaurant (Lanta Old Town)
Good food and good price! Plus they have a swing out looking the sea and a sitting place made out of nets. I recommend their fish and chips!

6. Fresh Restaurant (Lanta Old Town)
Located near Shine Talay Restaurant. They also have a swing, but for two!

7. Sunshine Hill Restaurant
This one is located a little far, but you can easily search in google maps though! Make sure you pay a visit in the morning for afternoon before 5 pm, because around that time the water is still high and good for taking pictures! Their Pad Thai is good and mango juice were good.

Global Young Leaders Tourism Camp 2016 in South Korea

Hi there!
After a long time I finally have motivation to write again HAHA, but life's been pretty busy now so I got my excuses :p

So on today's post I'm going to tell everythingggg about my previous trip to South Korea as a delegate from Indonesia for an government based event called Global Young Leaders Tourism Camp held by Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korean Tourism Organization (KTO).

The event was held from July 19th - August 2nd 2016, about 3 weeks long!
**But all the delegates arrived in July 18th and went back to our countries in August 3rd**

I'm going to explain in order and as clear as possible for those who are curious or YOU who will be applying for this program next year! :)

FYI I also made a youtube video and it hit 21k views already!

Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ :

1. How to apply?
You have to find out about the program through Korean Tourism Organization in your country (I dont know if your country has it or not, but what I know for sure is they do have a branch in Indonesia).
The process started from applying - selection by CV - interview - then announcement!
For me, it wasn't very hard to apply because I got the information from my university, Trisakti School of Tourism (the best in the country for tourism!!) that has a good relationship with KTO Indonesia.
KTO selected 3 people from our uni to be the delegates representing Indonesia.

2. How much is application fee?
FREE!
Yes, very hard to believe right? I didnt spend a single penny to apply.
Visa, flight tikets, accomodation, full board meals, stationary, FREE IPHONE (we had to return it in the last day, but still awesome!) and EVEN ALLOWANCE on free days group program!

3. What's the schedule?
It will take forever if I write every singple thing I did there, because it was a really tight schdule full of lectures, workshop, leadership training and visitation to tourism objects. But overall, here I attach the schedule list!

For me, the highlight of this program were : (List from most favorite to least favorite)

1. Lecture about Tourism in South Korea
My favorite topic was about Alternative Tourism Depending on Seasons and Understanding Hallyu Culture. Most of lectures' english were great!

2. Country presentation
Each country was given 10 minutes to presentate their pride in tourism! It was a great opportunity for Indonesia to shine :D and was a great way for me to learn about other countries' amazing tourism as well.

3. Visitation to tourism object
YASSSSS. The most anticipated activity in our program hahaha :D
In total, we visited over than 20 tourism objects and all of it was mindblowingly good! We even learnt how to use drone :O
But there were some activities that I CANT FORGET for my whole life and here's some pictures!!

4. FOODDDDD!!!
Literally, they gave us the best food everrr, everything was good. Except for flower bibimbab, they could've give us the regular bibimbab instead hmm..
**
I didnt even took picture of most of the good food because I was very excited to eat, I forgot to take pictures TEEHEE
Korean fried chicken 5000 Won
Flower Bibimbab, not good :( too pretty though

Bingsu with real mangoooo 8000 Won

SUPER GOOODDD
4. Who were the participants?
Total 13 countries participated (South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh)
The total participants were 54 people (if I'm not mistaken hehe)

5. How about free time?
Well, if you want to join this program to enjoy free time....THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT PROGRAM FOR YOU.
Yep, during those 3 weeks we had in total 3 days of free time BUT HOWEVER it didnt count as free time because we had to go with our group anytime anywhere and we had to do analysis report in the end of the day.
How about first day and last day where we didnt have schedule yet? In the first day I did get around 3 hours of free time and went outside near the Konkuk University. Last day we arrived in the hotel late at night and left to Indonesia early morning, so yeah no free time..
What do you expect...but it was still SO MUCH FUN :D

6. Who made this program?
Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korean Tourism Organization came up with the idea and with the help of Red Cap Tour they made this program happened.
How about Konkook / Konkuk University? Nope, they didnt have anything to do with this program, but we stayed in their dormitories and most of the activities took place there.

7. What's your thoughts during the program?
I was blown away by how organized this program, how much money and effort they put in to make this happen. Since day 1, there were nothing to complain about! Except for the very tight schedule, woke up every morning to have breakfast at 7 AM and we always ended our program of the day at around 10 PM minimum! We even slept at 3 AM one day to do all of our assignments and group projects. But I guess you cant really complain about that since it was the reason why we joined this program for. Now I miss those moments walking like zombies trying to stay awake during programs!
