Day 4
We all woke up even more early today because we wanted to see the sunrise in Merapi. We woke up at 4 am, I was so sleeeeepy. We arrive at Merapi at about 5 am. Not like yesterday, the Merapi can be seen stading firmly behind us <3 After that we went to Kalibiru, another one and half hours ride from Kaliurang. Kalibiru was so crowded, took us 2 freaking hours to take pictures on top of the platform, geez. Then we went to Giwangan bus station and I went back to Solo. End of Jogja trip :)

Solo Traveling in Bali

Went to Bali (for the 5th time hahaha) on July 30th - August 8th 2015

Day 1
Flew from Surabaya to Bali. The flight was half empty so it was very niceeee. Right after I arrived I ordered Gojek (a motorbike taxi, download the app for free!) only costed IDR 10.000 from Airport to Mama Hostel in Legian Area. Since I arrived at noon, I only went for dinner and strolled Kuta area.

Day 2
I contacted my friend Sandy there to accompany me for the day. We visited Padang - Padang Beach, Blue Point Beach, Melasti Beach, Pandawa Beach and Balangan Beach.

Day 3
Went to Nusa Penida all ba ma self. Again, went to Sanur by Gojek. Sailed to Nusa Penida by Maruti Express IDR 75.000/oneway (price for domestics). Right after I arrived at the island, I rented a motorbike (which I never drove before! hahaha I dont even have license, please dont judge me lol.) It took me  while to get used to driving a motorbike. I went to Simpalan, where my hotel located. I stayed at Nusa Garden Bungalow, very clean and nice. Then went to Nusa Penida Watersport to book a dive package and then went to Crystal Bay. Took me 30 minutes to get to Crystal Bay, the road was ok but pretty scary, a lot of uphill and downhill road. Then went to Broken Beach, another hour and half journey. The road was super scary, rocky, up and down!! My motorbike brokedown on the way, I was terrified because I was all alone. Thank God after about 5 minutes or so, 3 people came showed up and helped me. I asked them to ride my motorbike and went together, it was so nice of them! Then we visited Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and Pasih Andus. I went back to the hotel all by my self, there were no lights along the road, I was freezing by the cold night breeze and scared because of the dark. It was about 20 km from my hotel, took me an hour and half to finally arrive at Nusa Garden Bungalow. What a day!! :) <3
First time riding a motorbike :')

Day 4
Woke up early in the morning and rode my motor bike to Nusa Penida Watersport to dive. I was hoping to see Manta Ray and Mola Mola. To see both of them was the main reason why I visited Nusa Penida in the first place. It costed IDR 900.000/2x dives.

1st spot : Manta Bay
Depth 15 meters max, visibility 15 meters, water was colddddd
The local said there was no Manta there, I insisted to dive there still. In the first 30 minutes, we didnt see anything, just 5 minutes before we finished diving, my instructor named Wayan, excitingly called my by tapping on his dive tank, then he pointed at the magnificent Manta Ray swimming majesticly in front of us. I screamed happily, I coudlnt believe to see such beautiful creature right in front of my two eyes. I was so lucky!!

2nd spot : Crystal Bay
Depth 40 meters max, we only dived at 20-ish meters, visibility 20 meters, water was even colderrrrr
The current was pretty strong, I was scared at first. Same like the first dive, we didnt see anything in the first 30 minutes. Then my instructor told me to stay at 20 m while he went down to 25 m to see if Mola Mola can be seen around. He went back to me and signed no. I was devastated, but somehow I already accepted the fact that I couldnt see it. BUT, once again my instructor came to me with his super excited face, he tapped on his dive tank again and shook my hand, then he pointed at a Mola Mola!!!! GOSH, I was HYPEDDDD, I held on a coral to take a closer look, geez!! Such a beautiful fish, so uniqueeee. If you dont know what Mola Mola is, go search on google nowwww.
I was soooooooo happy. I dont know why Im super lucky that day, I never been so lucky my entire life :'D Only 1 out of 100 visitors who can see both Manta Ray and Mola Mola on the same day.

Ps : I didnt take any pictures because the current was strong, I was busy holding onto corals. But I regret nothing, I kept it right in my brain, my endless memory <3

Our happy faces after seeing Manta Ray and Mola Mola
Still super happyyy
Nusa Penida Watersport - very recommended!!!

I really recommend you to dive with Nusa Penida Watersport, great price, friendly crew and satisfying service http://www.nusapenidawatersport.com/

Day 5 until Day 10
I didnt visit any new places afterwards, only Kuta Bach (I did body surfing!), Nusa Dua Beach, Jimbaran. Oh well.
I stayed in my friend's dorm for 6 nights, shoutout to Khansa! <3

Nusa Dua Beach

Met Khansa and Adit. Goodluck in Bali you both!

**I really regret my decision not to stay another night in Nusa Penida :( Hendra, Gatot and Komang offered me to come with them another day but I said no, how freaking stupid :'/

Discovering South Sulawesi (Tanjung Bira, Tana Toraja, Pare Pare, Makassar)

July 14th - July 23rd 2015

Me and my family went to South Sulawesi for Eid Mubarak Holiday. Me and my big sis flew from Soekarno Hatta Airport Jakarta and the rest of the family flew from Adi Sutjipto Airport Yogyakarta. We arrived in about same time in Sultan Hassanudin Airport, Makassar City. After that we went to the parking lot and got in to my car.

Then the journey of Discovering South Sulawesi started....

Day 1

We went to Tanjung Bira, located in the most southern tip of South Sulawesi, about 200 km from Makassar. Took us 4 hours to get there because the road wasnt so nice. We arrived at night so we went directly to our hotel which was Bira View Inn.

Day 2
I woke up early in the morning and finally saw the beautiful beach right in front of our hotel.
Bira View Inn

On that day me and my family booked a snorkeling package to Liu Kang Loe Island. The boat was IDR 350.000 and the snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkle, fin) each costed IDR 25.000. The island is located about 15 minutes from Tanjung Bira by speed boat. There are 3 snorkeling spots ; sea turtle conservation, coral garden in front of Liu Kang Loe Island and another sea turtle conservation (smaller than the first one tho)

Day 3
I woke up early and went to Mangga Lodge to dive with South Sulawesi Diver. The package costed IDR 900.000/2x dives (including pick ups and lunch). Saw so many species that I never seen before.

1st spot : Levis 501
Depth only 5 meters max, water was cold as hell, great visibility.

Wobbegong Shark, can you see it?

Selfie with Rainbow Runners

Levis 501
 2nd spot : Shark Point
Depth was about 21-23 meters, water was warm, 15 meters visibility, crazy waves!
We dived in a crazy weather condition. The waves were very high, I even hesitated to jump into the water, I asked my instructor named Elvis "Is it safe? Should we go back?" He said it was fine so we went into the water. As soon as we dived, Elvis poked my shoulder and pointed at a black tip shark, I was in awe. The current was fast, we were drift diving, we even held to corals to slow down. I saw black tip and white tip shark, eagle ray, sea turtle, many more!

When we finished our 2nd dive and came up to the surface, we couldnt see our boat because it was too far. We drifted wayyyyy too far from the boat and the boat didnt follow our bubbles. The high waves made me dizzy and we did our best to give signs of our location to the boat, but the boat still couldnt see us. We decided to go to the nearest island, following the waves. After an hour of struggling, a local man came to us and helped us. Due to high waves, the local man's boat nearly flipped over. I was thrown into the water again, I was so freaking tired. Finally our boat saw us and rescued us. Then we went back to Tanjung Bira.
Damn, it was tiring and scary. But Thank God I was still be able to live to this very second. Honestly I didnt regret diving there despite the bad weather, I learnt so much that day ; how to stay calm, how to survive and how to trust your instinc. Super amazing experience!

Day 3
We went back to Makassar City last night, it was pretty crowded because it was the night before Eid Mubarak. We stayed in Losari Beach Hotel. On day three, we went to Trans Studio Makassar. Was so so, not very big and the rides were not so fun for adults. At night

Day 4
We went to Bantimurung, about 90 km from Makassar. After about 1.5 hours ride, we arrived there. It was super crowded ugh. The attractions there were also not very well maintained hmm.

Kassi Kebo Lake

Batu Cave

Day 5
Went to Pare Pare City, we stayed there for a night. Visited a nice seafood restaurant along the way.
Beach in front of restaurant

Little houses before the beach

Day 6
Continued our jorney to Tana Toraja! 140-ish km from Pare Pare. Arrived at night, took us about 5 hours ugh. So we just went directly to the hotel.

Day 7
Visiting Londa and Kete Kesu. Since Tana Toraja is famous for it's funeral ceremony and style. The only tourist attractions there are all cemetery.

Toraja Misiliana Hotel

Day 8 & Day 9
Visiting Sidrab and Bone for dad's business trip.
